Kennesaw approves plan for shopping center, 180 senior-living apartments

The Kennesaw City Council has approved a plan for 305,000 square feet of retail shopping space and 180 senior-living apartments. The project is planned for a 52-acre section of what is now a trailer park on the corner of Barrett and Cobb parkways, reports Marietta Daily Journal. The development was initially approved in 2014, but in a different form with less housing, the MDJ reports.
