Atlanta Mayor commits up to $12 million for public art

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced a major commitment to the arts during the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau’s annual meeting on April 30. As part of the $250 infrastructure bond recently passed in Atlanta, he said between $8 million and $12 million would be devoted to public art.
