Chick-fil-A Inc. completed its investigation to determine whether any compromise of its payment systems had occurred and reported "there was no evidence of a compromise of Chick-fil-A’s systems."
In December 2014, the Atlanta-based chicken chain confirmed it was investigating reports of potential unusual activity involving payment cards used at its restaurants after it received the initial report from its payment industry contacts late on Dec. 19.
