According to a report from NJ.com, the Atlanta Falcons Football Club LLC was paid $1,049,500 from 2011 to 2014 by the U.S. Department of Defense.
Overall, the DoD paid $5.4 million to 14 National Football League teams for salutes to the military and other advertising, with $5.3 million coming from the National Guard, the website reported citing data from federal contracts.
