Avatron USA Development LLC wants to build a technology-focused theme park on about 713 acres in Cartersville and Bartow County, Ga.
The Studio City, Calif.-based developer has a deal to buy the land from Paga Mine Properties for an undisclosed amount.
It plans a theme park called "Avatron Smart Park" with two hotels, retail space and possibly a music venue.
