Gov. Deal signs Mercedes tax break

Gov. Nathan Deal signed controversial tax break legislation Wednesday that will benefit Mercedes-Benz USA Inc., which is moving its headquarters to metro Atlanta. Under the bill, the last to gain passage during this year’s General Assembly session, Mercedes will be allowed to lease cars to its employees without paying a title fee.
