Georgia DOT awards contract for Georgia 400 widening project

The Georgia Department of Transportation awarded a $47.5 million contract Friday for the widening of Georgia 400 in Atlanta’s far northern suburbs. The contract went to the team of Marietta, Ga.-based C.W. Matthews Contracting Co. Inc. and Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering PLLC of North Charleston, S.C.
